Deadlines: all applicants should be aware of the submission and determination deadlines for each application cycle, updated annually on the SLA Apply page.
Review Committee: Proposals will be reviewed by an interdisciplinary committee of staff and faculty from the College of Arts & Letters and other relevant units on campus such as the Nanovic Institute for European Studies and the Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies.
Review Criteria: The review committee will use the SLA Grant Evaluation Rubric to evaluate individual proposals. Please take a moment to review these criteria as you develop your proposal.
Graduate Applicant Selection: Graduate applicants complete a separate application from their undergraduate counterparts and are evaluated as such.
